We have entered into the suffering of Jesus Christ to the Glory of God. We suffer that we might enter the fullness of God. The joy of serving God comes when we are obedient. Baptism is an act of obedience; Holy Communion is an action of your faith. II Timothy 3:12

"Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." Our pain is the devil's pleasure. What the devil uses to hurt us, God uses it to help us. The Love of Christ constrains us to maintain. We must have a desire to please God. Jesus said, "Take up your cross and bear it daily." The joy of following Christ is priceless. When you suffer for Christ, God will grant you suffering patience. Patience will help you endure your midnight hour without getting angry or upset. Waiting patience is necessary for endurance. This is when you learn to pray and trust God. Stand stedfast in your faith. Don't let anything turn you around.

You don't expect to find gold in a silver mine if you do. It is unexpected. Walking down the street, you don't expect to find money. When you do, what is your reaction? Learn to respond and not react to life's problems. Obstacles are always coming. Be prepared to deal with them as they come. Sometimes the best decision is not the right decision.

Learn to recognize the tricks of the enemy. The devil specializes in making the wrong things look right; the right things look wrong. The enemy uses the things that we see and feel to destroy us.

The pleasure of sin is like Quick Sand. You don't realize it until you are in it. The more you try to get out of it, the deeper you sink.

When you pray, believe God will hear and answer your prayer. Approach God with the right motive being humble in heart. Always acknowledging Him for who He is. We can count on God to grant the unexpected.

You don't need an application or a resume to start work. The new life in Christ is of a different structure. It is a transformation through the new birth, from PHYSICAL life to SPIRITUAL life. From Eternal Damnation to Eternal Life. We must become spiritual to be a witness for the Lord.

Because of sin, we die spiritually. But because of Christ, we are saved by grace. We must choose to please God by submitting to the will of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. It's a choice that every born-again believer must make. Working for God is like being a salesman. You must be able to present your product so it is attractive to a buyer. The problem with most salesmen, they can sell, but they can't close the deal. Witnesses can lead people to Jesus Christ, but they can not entice them to accept salvation. Sometimes your personal testimony can help someone come to a decision. Encourage people to read the Word of God and to pray daily. Trusting God is our number one goal. We must bear our cross daily and follow Christ.

Are you suffering from a power outage? We must stay connected to the true vine and follow Jesus Christ. When we follow afar off, the light gets dim. We ought to let our little light shine everywhere we go. If the light goes out, we walk in darkness. In a world of darkness, you will stumble. If you fall, get up and keep going. Obstacles are sometimes hard to overcome. Sin not only makes our light dim but causes a power outage. Keep your power built up through prayer. Read the Word of God daily and let your light shine.

Witnessing is not easy; it is a challenge for most of us. Preparation is the key to success. The Word of God and a good prayer life will enhance your abilities. A positive mental attitude will attract people to you. Be a good listener; talking is sometimes a turn-off. People need to be encouraged. Hope is the center of our message. Being rejected can cause you to respond negatively. People will ignore you or don't pay attention, don't take it personally.

You must be able to set goals, follow up, and follow through. Make plans to talk to people one on one about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Be careful of your approach. Usually, you can take a direct approach with a family member or someone you know. Use an indirect conversation with strangers. People are more receptive when they can relate to you. No, and not right now is an acceptable answer. Pray for the sin-sick-souls everywhere and be an effective witness.

Because of human nature, the appetite for sin is unquenchable. There is a craving effect never satisfied. If you are going to overcome sin, you must first realize what sin is and what the force of evil will do to your life. Sin is evil; the benefits of sin will cause you to die physically and spiritually. A man born once will die twice.

The natural man will die twice; the spiritual man will live forever. In the Bible, St. John 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." The new birth is for the repentant soul. Becoming spiritual is the operation of God. It's not what you do for God; it's what He does for you. When you become spiritual, you are Reconciled, Restored, and Accepted in Christ Jesus. The natural man cannot see the Kingdom of God.

Tomorrow always sounds good to get things done. Do it today. Life and time are not friends. When you spend your time doing nothing, nothing is what you get. The work of your hands should be productive. There is no work or reward in the graveyard.

Two hands can build a house; it takes a good heart to make a home. You must have a foundation to build on. Life is the foundation we build on. You should work today as if there is no tomorrow. You can not regain wasted time. We should seek the love and mercy of God today; tomorrow may be too late. In the bible (KJV), Romans 6:23 " For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." It is yours to accept or reject.

1. God delivers us from the PENALTY of sin by the atonement work of Christ at calvary.

2. We are delivered from the PLEASURE of sin through obedience to Christ.

3. We are delivered from the POWER of sin through total submission to the will of God.

4. Our faith is God will deliver us from the PRESENCE of sin.

Life is hard enough without the baggage we pick up along the way. A heavy load will hinder your success. Be careful don't let others drop their load on you. It is a daily struggle to walk upright. Avoid unhealthy relationships; be a good friend. You can't help a drug addict if you are an addict. Addiction is the beginning of many problems. Anger and bitterness hinder recovery. For some people, you have to love them at a distance. Just because you don't hang out with them does not mean you don't love them. When you say no, stick to your word. No is an acceptable answer. Bad influence can affect your judgment. Sin is the burden.

The Lord will help you bear your burden. You can overcome obstacles through prayer. Drop unnecessary baggage and enjoy the peace that comes from the Lord.

The Bible is the Word of God revealing Jesus Christ as the Son of God and God the Son. Jesus and God are One; Jesus declares God as the Heavenly Father. God is our Creator and Keeper. God spoke all things into existence; God was there before there was. It was God that said, "Let there be." And the heavens and the earth were created by the Son (the Word). The Holy Spirit of God was active in the work of creation. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are equal inco­existence. From the beginning of time, man has heard about God and His Acts. God said that they (men) had gone in their ways. And that none of them did seek righteousness. The disobedience of Adam, the first man in creation, caused sin and death to come upon all men everywhere. The obedience of Jesus Christ caused all men who believe in His name to pass from death to eternal life. In the Bible (KJV), I Corinthians 15:21-­22. "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." Men are not saved by their good works but by their faith in the saving power of Christ. Your belief is the foundation of your Walk and your Worship. Belief in Christ is the beginning of your spirituality. Salvation is God's Gift to you, and PRAISE and WORSHIP are your Gifts to God. God does not make us worship Him, but we must worship God of our free will. It is unusual for a man to worship God because man seeks worship from one another. The creature desires worship more than their desire to worship the Creator. Satan was an angel (creature) in Heaven but refused to worship the only Holy Father. Pride caused Satan to rebel against God. He said, in his heart, "It is better to rule all of hell than to serve in Heaven." Then he was cast out of Heaven. Don't let your pride hinder your worship! We often approach God with the wrong motive. God is worthy of our praise and worship. When you worship God, you must approach His throne in the power of the Holy Ghost and the Name of Jesus. Your love for this world is not welcome at the worship of God. God is no respecter of person; you must surrender your heart to His Will. God does not expect you to worship Him, but it is a requirement.

If we ever needed prayer, the time is now. Prayer Works! Prayer does not change things; it changes the people that pray. Men have prayed to God down through the ages. God responds to sincere prayer. We do not always understand how prayer works.

Prayer will make a man overcome sin or sin will entice a man to cease prayer.

Sin hinders prayer; it takes away the power of prayer. Praying helps you overcome obstacles that get in the way of work. The desire to commune with God is a desire to walk with God. God will answer the sincere prayer.
