The Test of Time

Posted on May 14, 2022 at 1:15 PM

Can you remember how God brought you out of your wilderness? Over the years, you started to forget God and His goodness. You can deceive yourself by thinking you made it on your own. When you get to the top, the bottom is waiting for your return. Don't forget the people that helped you along the way. The gutter is waiting on your return. The mistakes you made in the past ought not to dictate your future. Learn from those mistakes and rise to meet the challenges of the future. Time waits on no one. You have made it this for so don't give up now. God got a blessing with your name on it.

Receive the blessing of salvation through Jesus Christ. Do it today, tomorrow is not promised to anyone. God promised us eternal life through Christ the Lord. The test of time will defeat you if you die without accepting Jesus as your Savior. Don't let the sin of unbelief be your downfall. Be born again and be delivered from God's wrath. Christ is calling you to come today.

The Christian Walk, Work, and Worship

Posted on April 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM

Love and faith are the theme and passion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ showed love to everyone, even His enemies. We are representatives of Christ; we should think with the mind of Christ, we should walk as Christ walked fulfilling the will of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are saved by faith through Christ Jesus the Lord. Not by good works as some men may think. Being in the will of God makes us safe. Without the grace of God, we would self-destruct. The sin of unbelief is destruction unbelief is the seed of rebellion. When you say that you believe, there should be some evidence of Christ in your life. If we are justified by faith, we ought to be identified by the love of Christ in our hearts. We are justified through the righteousness of Christ by faith. Your faith and what you believe are all that you own. Don't let your failures and your disappointments hinder your faith. Every obstacle that you overcome will help you to grow spiritually. Love and faith are the keys to being a good and effective witness. It is not about what you say but what you do. Your Walk, your Work, and your Worship are your witness.

Don't let nothing take away your Joy

Posted on April 17, 2022 at 12:55 AM

You have more reasons to celebrate your life than you realize. Decide to stop complaining and put your faith in action. You will see some results and some answered prayers. When you can't find a reason to smile, it might be you. Happiness comes in many ways. Look on the inside of yourself and find peace and joy. Money is not always the answer. Sometimes it can be your downfall. When you focus on what you don't have, you don't appreciate what you already have. Life is more than a bed of roses; it also has rows of hard knocks. Build a life of love and peace and reap the rewards. Evil is always present; you can overcome it by doing good deeds. Your good works will speak for you. There is a difference between Joy and Enjoyment. Joy is everlasting, and enjoyment is for a moment. Pleasure seekers are often disappointed in people, places, and things. You must realize that joy comes in serving the Lord. Jesus taught His disciples about staying connected to the Vine. When we are faithful, we become fruitful. The fruit that we bear is to the glory of God. Love is the key to the joy of the Lord. The Lord does not expect us to love; it's a commandment. In the bible KJV, St.John 15:10-11, " If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full." Sin and the lust for enjoyment will take away your joy.

You may not be here next year or Don't let God have to cut you down

Posted on April 11, 2022 at 12:05 AM

St Luke 13:6-9

Every Christian should learn this parable. It reminds us to do a self-exam. We should give an account of the fruit that we bear. We are the branches, Christ is the vine. Jesus warns us about being unfruitful. "Saying every branch that does not bear fruit is taken away. And every branch that beareth fruit is purged that it may bring forth much fruit."

In the text, we must understand that we represent the fig tree. There is a consequence for not being fruitful. The owner of the vineyard (God) talks with the keeper (Christ) of the vineyard (Church) and says, "these three years, I have come to get fruit and there is none. Then He says cut it down. Why let it take up space?"  We know that there are people who hold positions in the church and don't get anything done. And some people say they are working but there is no evidence. The complainers are many, but the true workers are few. Verse 8. "And he answering said unto him, Lord let it alone this year also, till I dig about it, and dung it." Verse 9. "And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shall cut it down."

We must understand how Christ pleads mercy on our behalf. He gives us the power of the Holy Ghost to be fruitful and accountable. We are unworthy to serve God but through Christ, we can be fruitful.

Love will Melt a Heart of Stone

Posted on March 11, 2022 at 5:45 PM

As you study the Bible, you will discover a book of many teachings. The lessons are for the betterment of life. You will read about riddles, parables, and the power of love. Love is the greatest element in the world because it is associated with blood. There is nothing like true love. The Bible teaches forgiveness and giving are the beginning of love. You can give and not love but you can't love and not give. In the Bible, Jesus teaches about love more than any other subject. He teaches about loving your enemy. It is unusual to teach one to love their enemy and pray for those who despitefully use you. In the Bible KJV, St. John 15:13, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." Christ goes on to teach His disciples the great commandment; "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all mind." And the second commandment is like unto it, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

Falling in love will melt a heart of stone. It is a gift from God. We sometimes abuse love when we turn it into lust. Lust will deceive you, and the pain that it brings is often too much to bear. Jesus teaches His disciples that He is not telling them to love, but it is a commandment. We have a charge to love one another as Christ has loved us.

The Holy Spirit of God

Posted on February 21, 2022 at 4:10 PM

The Holy Spirit is God, and the Son of Man (Christ) has made it possible for every man to know God and be Spirit-Filled. When we are not led by the Holy Spirit, we walk in darkness. Jesus said, "Men love darkness rather than light because the light exposes their deeds." Men are evil by nature, but the Holy Spirit leads men to Christ, the Light of the world. Men reject the Holy Spirit because they can not see Him. The good works that Christ did in the presence of men; made some of them hate Him and the Father. They hated Jesus because He told them the truth about their sins, and they rejected the truth. Every man must accept Christ into their life and be born again to receive atonement for their sins. Without Christ, man will perish in his sins. Sin makes you the enemy of God, but when you accept Christ into your life, you become a child of God through Christ. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we have assurance and we are safe in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is our Leader, our Teacher, and our Guide. The Spirit empowers the Christian Witness with a gift (talent) or several gifts for service in the Church. The Church is in each born-again believer. We must work by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our work is a personal work and a collective work; to the glory of God. Sometimes you feel all alone, but Christ said that He would not leave us alone, but He would send the Comforter, the Spirit of truth to be with us. When the Holy Spirit is active in your life, you will become committed to the work of Christ. But don't let sin be active in your life, it will hinder your work. People will doubt what you say, but they will believe what you do. When you stand strong in the truth, you will impact someone's life. The work of leading lost souls to Christ is not an easy job, but it is the work of the Spirit of God. Being a witness is your job and the work is your duty until you die or until Christ returns.

Worry makes you Unstable

Posted on December 8, 2021 at 12:25 AM

Instability is one of man’s greatest obstacles to overcome. Stability comes when you live by God’s will (plan) and set goals that are reachable. You will not reach your goals when you are unstable. Instability breeds DOUBT and ANXIETY. When you worry about things you have no control over, you become frustrated. Everyone would like to know how their life will be in the future. Since we cannot see into the future, we must trust God. Life is demanding! Getting an education, getting a good job, and having a lot of money is not the answer. All of the money and gold in the world cannot save your soul. When you put your trust in money and your possessions, they will let you down. Faith and love will bring STABILITY into your life. Your faith can replace doubt and anxiety. By faith, you learn to trust God for the things that seem impossible. As we learn to love and learn how to forgive, then we can see some stability. We must build our lives on our faith in Jesus Christ. WHY CHRIST? Christ is the SOLID ROCK and, there is no other foundation to build on. Life is empty without Christ the Lord because there is no connection to God. Christ makes it very clear that we must trust God. We must, at all cost, remove all doubt about God and His abilities to take of us. God will save us from the wrath to come. We must be born again and receive the seed of God (the gift of God) and become a new creature in Christ.

Unhealthy Relationships

Posted on November 15, 2021 at 7:20 AM

It is unhealthy to remain in a bad relationship or a one-sided friendship. Domestic abuse is toxic to a romantic relationship. Love never hurts; when the hitting and punching start, it will never end. Apologies are like band-aids; it only covers up the wounds. The pain is endless. Putting trust in the wrong person is a mistake that many have made. It is never too late to get out and start over. It takes courage and the aid of loved ones. Plan your exit be strong not to turn back. When you look for love in all the wrong places, you will find lust and deception. Internet love is not a good start. Don't be deceived by the outside appearance. Pay attention to the signs that people give. Any man that loves his mom will love his wife. Listen to and hear about past relationships. People often talk about what is important to them. Be careful about sharing your business with someone you just met. Don't get over-excited and blind-sided by the physical attraction. Real love is genuine. Infatuation is the heartbreaker of many relationships. Look for balance! It's okay to change your mind when you feel uncomfortable. Remember NO means No. Stay in control of yourself. There are other times and places for new relationships.

Get to Know your enemy

Posted on October 5, 2021 at 1:30 AM

Before you can know your enemy, you must know yourself. Self-preparation is key to winning the battle. Your mind, body, and spirit must be in good condition. Don't let your disabilities dictate your abilities. You can overcome any obstacle that comes your way. Be strong physically and spiritually. The enemy is well prepared. Your best defense is a well-planned offense.

Getting to know the enemy is not easy. The enemy is the devil. It is hard to fight someone who you can not see. You must get to know God before you can recognize the devil and his deception. The devil always comes with his A-game. Your A-game is to be born again by the power of the Holy Spirit to become spiritually empowered. The fight with the devil is spiritual warfare. The aid of the Holy Spirit will help you to stand stedfast.

The tactics of the devil are not uncommon. He specializes in making the wrong things look right and the right things look wrong. The devil has three offenses move that you should recognize. 1. Excitement 2. Enticement 3. Intoxication. When you are excited, you can not think clearly. Sometimes the excitement is overwhelming, and it makes you blind to the facts. The enticement is one of the devil's most used tools. It is an attempt to get you to change your mind about what you know is right. If you know that sinning is wrong, don't let anyone lead you astray. The devil wants you to experience the pleasure of sin in a way that's it is intoxicating. The effects of alcohol will cause you to be out of control. The power of sin will cause you to lose your soul. You can overcome your enemy through Christ the Lord.
