Disobedience

Disobedience is the fruit of rebellion. Children who resist their parents' rule seek independence. Children do not realize the price of independence. Most of us have failed to follow rules. Punishment is not the only way to correct disobedience. Compassion and love will get great results.
Children should be truthful and respectful. Parents should set good examples. Teach them that lying is wrong; one lie begets another lie. Respect comes with a price.
The consequences of your experiences should have an impact. Teach children they are responsible for their actions. There is a reward when we are obedient to rules. Discipline is the key to staying focused. We also should be obedient to the Word of God. We can count on God in the time of need. God responds to His obedient children. In the Bible, Colossians 3:1-6. "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on the things of the earth. For ye are dead, and your life hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"
Accept Christ as Savior and get right with God. Good works will not save you; the grace of God will save your soul.
