The Day of the Cross

Tommy Dyer

A day that looked like all hope was gone became the day of victory. The enemy was defeated and shamed. The mystery became a miracle. Jesus Christ redeemed mankind from the power of sin.

Romans 3:23-26, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that past through the forbearance of God: To declare, I say, at this time that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus."

We must understand the atonement work that Christ did on the cross. 1. He Reconciled us to God by the power of His Word. 2. He Restored us in the power of the Holy Spirit. 3. He Redeemed us the through the power of His Blood. We now have a new life in the Spirit. Romans 8:1-2, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." The day of the cross is no longer a mystery; but a Miracle.
